Does anyone else think that having those weapon vending machines right in the middle of battles made things a bit too easy?
In one of the Rosso fights (eww, Rosso!) all I did was stand next to the vending machine, shoot the shit out of her and buy more bullets and health when I needed it. I barely even moved from that spot. o.O; I'm not really complaining, though. It made stuff really, really easy for me... yay! --------------------  |

Good point it did make things too easy, especially for Rosso...but have you tried to fight her melee OMFG!
Too bad there wasn't one when you fight Azul for the last time, i kept running out of magic...the fact that i was forgetting about my three Limit Breakers didn't help either. --------------------  Turks: Head of the Psychic Division |

It made me angry that she saw Cloud and SMILED, attacking him and thinking that she stood a chance! NO, ROSSO! No one can beat Cloud, let a lone a skanky, half-naked scary red whore with an accent! I kinda had a funny image about those riddiculously convenient vending machines.Its like when Vincent runs out of bullets in his fight with Rosso he goes"wait lets play some music" and runs of to reload his gun...

Maybe DoC is just like Dissidia in that Square Enix knows that FF fans are RPG players and don't usually play action games (they don't need realism and it must be easy to fight ^^)

My biggest issue with the vending machines is that they look like jukeboxes. I find quite a few things wrong with that.
1. I find it very hard to believe that Vincent would appreciate anything other than classical music. 2. I find it hard to believe anyone would fill a jukebox with a bunch of classical music. 3. How do you buy bullets from a jukebox? 4. DoC is supposed to be taking place in 2010, isn't it? Who uses jukeboxes anymore? Who uses vending machines anymore? Why can't he just get a laptop and buy some stuff on eBay? |
