Okay, I just found out about this forum. And saw a comment about Roxas and Axel actually being gay for each other. (FUCK YOU HOMOPHOBIC DISNEY! THERE'S NOTHING CHRISTAN IN SHOWING A PENIS ON A BOX COVER OR HAVING SEXUAL HINTS IN LATER MOVIES!) I belive that. While it might have been 'pulled' out, you can clearly see that it's still there. I've also heard that Demyx was suppose to be gay too. Not for Xigbar, but very much gay.

Cloud and Zack have a much deep friendship. It's unsure how deep, but still deep. Probably about as deep as Axels and Roxas' own 'friendship'. And yes, people do firmly belive that Reno and Rude are infact more then just work partners.

With how fans are, they use their own logic and imagination to fill in the gaps, they make sense of everything, or attempt to.

I'm not a Cloud/Zack fan (sorry, I'm not even a Cloud fan and when I played FFVII, I have named him Emo) but I can still respect the friendship/love intrest they shared.

And not just them either. Sephiroth would be in that mix.

I had a bit of a revelation today. I think the reason I originally hopped on the Clack train was because I thought the whole "opposites attract" thing was the deciding factor. I'm kinda shifting away from that because I don't think it was L-O-V-E exactly...more like "hey, you're attractive, I'm attractive, it's the military and guys do it all the time" and being friends just makes it more affectionate and may grow into love of a sort. But really, angst makes the fandom go round, so you don't get many people that hang onto that casualness and choose instead to make it "oh-my-Goddess-I-can't-live-without-him."

Personally, I just want them to all have sex.....big orgy.....all of them. Ok, not Barret, but all the other guys.

Seriously, sometimes I don't really give a shit if they are in love or not. Them being in love is just another angle to kill the boredom of reading the same thing over and over, because honestly, just sex gets damn boring after awhile...there's only so many ways you can vary it.

Other times, emotion thrown in can make it really powerful on whole new levels for the reader. Also makes you change your pre-conceived ideas on a character and leads you to open up new levels of personality.

Well, it's okay to go deep. This is a topic after all.

Right now people are running around, creating whichever fandom train they can in order to keep things interesting.

Seriously, if there was no fandom to anything, everything would be really boring. Fans makes games and shows go round. Yeah, the creator is what started it, but if that's all there is, then that means that there's nothing else to keep it running. Like millions upon millions of angry fans screaming for a remake to FFVII game via baby eatting e-mails.

Someone told me that fandom helps new people see diffrent views on the same characters that has been published. She then told me that 'The future of our history is to start in the present' too, but I think she was just sprouting words at that point.

If something exists, there's going to be at least one person of each fandom genera who likes it. That makes me proud to being a fan for anything I really enjoy.

I read these posts this morning, and I wrote up my own oppinions today in school...because I'm that much of a nerd. 8D Nerd powah! <3

Let me first explain how I became a fan of this pairing [Clack], because to be honest, I wasn't much of a fan of it in the beginning.

After playing Crisis Core I was fascinated and moved by the relationship that Zack and Cloud shared, however brief it seemed. Zack gave up his life for his little blond friend. It's impossible to try and argue that Zack didn't care very deeply for Cloud, whether in a romantic way or not. Not everyone would break someone out of a laboratory monitored by armed guards [and mad scientists], carry the comatose boy through the slime and the mud [literally and metaphorically] for miles, all the while fighting off murderous pursuers. Someone whom wasn't personally invested in this other person would probably become so fearful for their own life that they would soon abandon the hindrance, if they had bothered to take the other with them at all. And although Zack was chivalrous and very much a "hero" by nature, such a feat goes beyond someone's every-day heroism and determination.

That being said, I hadn't believed that their relationship was a romantic one. They were like Frodo and Sam to me; inseparable even in the toughest of times, able to bear the bad stuff because the other was there for them. They made each other stronger and yes, there was love. Very powerful love. But "love" doesn't mean kissing and cuddling and sex. Love is the deepest and strongest bond two people can share, something that in both the real world and in literature has been able to overcome evil in all its forms, and it is not restricted for the ones whom show their affection through their bodies.

So anyway, I was on this site one day [CCboard, obvs.] and I stumbled upon some Clack fanfics. I read it hesitantly, and only because I wanted to try it out. See what it was all about. I liked it, so I read another and then another, and so on and so forth.

I read them not because I thought "Well, they are gay for each other! Dhur! How else can you explain why they cared about the other so much?" but because I just enjoyed them being together, interacting. [Okay, but I'll admit I rather like smut. Who the hell doesn't? Srsly.] But the point is that I love them either way, and whether they are romantic together or not isn't what matters to me. It's the fact that the bond they shared was so incredibly strong.

That bond, in all seriousness, inspires me everyday. It's the sort of thing that makes you think, "Huh, maybe this world isn't as bleak as it seems."

It was strong enough to lead Zack to sacrificing himself for Cloud, strong enough to get Cloud up onto his feet again, and strong enough for us, the fans, to be moved by it.

...WOW that was longer than I expected. XDD ANYWAY~ I hope I didn't offend anyone or anything; but there it is. My thoughts on the matter.

Well....I've never really been able to perfectly explain why Zack and Cloud are so definitely with each other. They've always sort of struck me as one of those couples that you see walking around, and hanging out together, and you can just tell they're right for each other. It's just that gut feeling you get that those two people are meant to be together, and you can just see them click. I don't know if anyone can really understand a word I just said there....but I hope it at least makes a little sense.

I didn't like Zack/Cloud so much at first--I'm still a little iffy on it, and I only like it sometimes. It's grown on me though. I think that's 'cause I like seeing them more as friends (plus, I will always love Sephiroth/Cloud more than anything else in this universe <3). Zack's so strong and nice and fun and just balances out Cloud's seriousness and emo. XD Sometimes their friendship fics are my favorite out of all of them, just 'cause they make such /perfect/ little friends.

But hey, I like Zack/Cloud too. Duh. =)

But honestly? I could care less about true love and connections and all that stuff (I'm a shallow fangirl). (BUT SEPHIROTH AND CLOUD HAVE AN INTERTWINED DESTINY AND THERE AIN'T NO MOUNTAIN HIIIIIIIGH ENOUGH, AIN'T NO VALLEY LOOOOOOOWWWW ENOUUUUGGGHHH AND THEY'RE PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER AND-)

Well.........I mean, I do care. A lot. But.....I'm not gonna bother putting as much thought into it as Alexa did, 'cause my brain will explode and I'll die and no one wants that.

Really, as long as they're adorable together, I'm in. Because I mean, I can't like Lazard/Cloud or Seifer/Cloud if I'm always on the lookout for strong bonds and true love and stuff, eh? If they're hot together, I'm in. Long live crack pairings. <3

...And those are Tobi's not so deep thoughts for the day.

Well, this has been my opt for 7 years and still going strong, and I don't remember all the reasons for why I started shipping even though I should o___o!!!

In my own little fangirl world, this pairing is everything I love about a couple. Cloud comes from Nibelheim, doesn't have a lot of friends and had a rough childhood. Especially when Tifa's dad blames him for nearly getting Tifa killed. He felt the guilt of 9999x burning Ifrits and wants to be strong enough to protect people he cares about.

Zack, on the other hand, while we don't know about his childhood, we do know that he's a happy go lucky type of guy and a lady's man too! He's got so much charisma that you know he's got a lot of friends (and in the Reunion files, some people mentioned that Zack would be the idea man for anybody) Not only that, but he's practically a hero, he just doesn't get recognized for it because Sephiroth overshadows him in those occasions (like after Fort Tamblin in Wutai, even if you get full marks... and also with how he managed to hold himself against an entire army as well)

So when they meet, they snap together really easily. Zack is probably the first person to treat Cloud as a friend, and he'd try to be the best friend ever to Cloud, and get him to open up a little and show him that not everyone is out to hate him. There's a lot of potential for Zack to bring out the best in Cloud too! Not only in mentoring and teaching and training, opening him up to trust others as well!

Additionally, they've suffered a lot together. They both see their hero/friend (Sephiroth) go insane and have to cut him down, and in the Nibelheim Mansion, while Hojo is performing god knows what type of experiments on them, They're really close. So close that Zack spend half a year dragging along a comatose Cloud that was probably more trouble than he was worth to bring along, but Zack brought him along ANYWAY and didn't think of Cloud as unnecessary baggage once. (assuming, ok?)

Their BFFness gives tons of chemistry between them and they have some serious devotion for each other. Cloud doesn't really have a chance to show it off, but he does care about Zack too, (see DMWs when he shoots down a griffin Zack misses taking out, and when he takes over dealing with Sephiroth too, and even inadvertently cheers up Zack when Zack's having doubt about his soldier pride after the reactor incident when Genesis shows up.) and seems to open up to Zack the most out of anybody else (he SMILES and LAUGHS with Zack for god's sake). Even though Cloud forgets about Zack after he snaps out of his comatose state, he takes on a lot of Zack's mannerisms and I kind of like to think a part of Zack lives on in Cloud, and deep down, Cloud never forgot... he just couldn't remember (does that make sense?!)

Augh, this post is too long and it's 2am.

And ok, I'll tell the truth, I have a huge softspot for overprotective!ZackxCloud and think it's so hot, even if most people only write dork!Zack after CC came out. *sobs* don't laugh at me.)

I don't know how I can fit this in, but its a shame how Disney and Sony shun love so much, I see that Zack loves Vincent shares the view.
